How does the PCV system work in the 2007+ 5.3's? I pulled out what I thought was the PCV valve on the drivers side rear of the engine on the valve cover and it is just a open valve, There is nothing to regulate the crank pressure? Is the crank case constantly under a vacuum or is there air...

Just curious what most people here end up doing. Tunes from somewhere like Black Bear Performance or programmers? I like the idea of switching between tunes for towing, highway, performance, etc . I hear all the time that performance tunes give better MPG anyway, so is there an difference...
