Thanks for your help !!! They defintely have something to do with the doors inside. When I pushed one up, now I have air coming from the face vents, but when I change the airflow to defrost, it comes out the defrost and face vents ! UGGGG ! I will ziptie them together for now and see if that...

yep, they move and it sounds like they open and close a door inside. there is another one up higher and it has a spring in the middle with some white plastic clip holding it....???? I wonder if I can just bolt it together ? thanks

Thanks for the link....I think the actuator is fine, just these rectangular links that I think are suppossed to be connected to each other.

I just purchased a 1998 Tahoe, and I have no air coming from the face ducts. The defrost works and the lower ducts seem to be working. I noticed on the drivers side that there are a couple of levers that are not hooked to anything. One coming from an actuator and the other above. Does anyone...
