i got it!!! Well I checked my wiring and I found the problem. The interface moduel I used had a screw to turn down the volume of the door chime. It also turns down the volume signal being sent to the factory amp. Thanks for the suggestions.

I just installed a planet audio touchscreen head unit in my 2003 Tahoe and it has Bose speakers. The quality of the sound is horrible and it will not get very loud. Have I hooked something up wrong, like the factory amp is not working or the new head unit isn't powerful enough? Any suggestions...
