DNX690HD, excellent sound very pleased with it so far. You have to play around with the equalizer and get the bass settings right, I thought they lost the sub on the Bose system. The Bose speakers are fine unless you want to drop another couple G's I don't think it's worth upgrading them...

I just got my stock head unit replaced with a Kenwood nav. I have the old HU and was going to put it on Ebay. What do you think it's worth, so I put a reasonable reserve on it? Or don't bother? TIA Vince

I had condensation in one of my turn signal/DRL light assemblies on my 05 Hoe so I replaced both of them maybe a month ago. Easy enough right? Got a car wash and noticed the same one with condensation (not as bad as b4 but still) this morning. So I'm assuming the rubber gasket isn't fitting...

I called GMPP on Monday to see what was covered or not and decided to take it to dealer. It was the O2 sensor. Mechanic said normally it also throws P0171 along with 174 when it's the gasket. He did a spray test on intake with brake cleaner (i think). Running better than it ever has now...

I've been experiencing a bit of rough idle since I've owned my 05 Tahoe (01/12) and then it seems to smooth out. Until this week, and now it stays very rough at idle almost like it's ready to stall and the check engine light came on today. Got 3 codes... P0300 - Multiple misfire detected...

Just found this thread, my steering wheel lights are out on an 05. Does each set of controls have it's own bulbs that need to be replaced? Anyone know what type of bulb these are? Thanks, Vince

I have some 'issues' with the interior lights in my 05 Tahoe. The major one (according to the mechanic) is with the temp control sliding knobs, the passenger side lighting is out and he says you have to replace the whole part ($300+), is this true? If so, does anyone know the part needed...

Was thinking of getting a set of LLoyd's mats, I have a bermuda blue 05 with a grey interior. Was thinking gray with blue embroidery, but I wonder if contrasting colors wouldn't be better. Thoughts?
