It's never while I'm in the vehicle. Sometimes when I start it they work and they'll work the whole time. Then sometimes when I start it they don't work, and don't begin to work.

I just bought this vehicle and it has an OEM non-Bose Nav unit installed. My front door speakers usually don't work, but at times will. It's not a constant cut in and cut out, it's one or the other for a long period of time. Loose ground maybe? Where to look first? Behind head unit? Behind...

Last night it was quite. Today it was at full blast. Then tonight I used it again and it was super quiet again. I didn't touch anything in between uses. After it was quiet tonight I checked the volume again and it was still maxed out.

It's all the way up.

The '08 Tahoe I just bought had an Acadia Nav already put in it, non Bose system. I can barely hear the Nav and On-star voice, as well as the chimes (I read that this is normal after this install). My question is if I install an amp, will this fix this? Or what's the best approach? I was...

Got the Acadia disc in today, and it works!! Because the Nav was installed after factory, I have the quit Onstar voice, Nav voice, etc. I've read that an amp will fix the low music volume, does this include those voices?

They wanted to send it off to get repaired, but when we realized it was from an Acadia we decided to order an Acadia Nav disc (different item number than the Tahoe one we've been trying). Fingers crossed, I'll let you know!

Pulled the unit out today. It's GMPN 20792734 - did some looking around online and it seems it's an '09 Acadia unit. Would this cause any problems? The radio and such works fine, just that the Nav won't read the disk (we've tried multiple) so I'm thinking it's compatible, just damaged?

Thanks. They said they tried a few different disks. I called the dealer that looked at it to speak to them myself rather than through the original dealer. He seemed to know what he was talking about. He said he tried to program a VIN from a vehicle that already had Nav among other things...
