I found a good resource for showing how to remove the airbag and steering wheel for the Tahoe. Go to www.autowoods.com. They have a technical section at the bottom of their website with really good directions and pics.

Thanks for your help. I finally found a link to detailed instructions with pics from the steering wheel dealer. I would have never figured out how to get the airbag disengaged from the wheel if it had not been for the pics.

I just bought a brand new stock steering wheel for my 99 2WD/2DR. Can anyone tell me the steps to removing the old steering wheel? Thanks much!
