I had the ABS dissabled on my own 97 Tahoe and they were so sensitive it was unreal.always felt like front only were working.Another 1 of my customers goes thru pads like nothing and we use carbon ceramic pads from Napa.

Thanx Rocky.I'll try that.It makes sense.These mid 90's tahoes all seem to have brake problems of some sort,and go thru pads really fast.

That's what we've been doing And I'm just not getting the pedal I'd like. New Pads and shoes.Master was leaking under resevior,so it is new.Brake pedal seems to have a mind of it's own and also does that low speed antilock suffle from time to time. Are these 97 Tahoes prone to brake problems?Thanx

Is there a trick to bleeding the brakes on these 97 Tahoes.I know on my Z06 I have to bleed it in a X patern.We've bleed 2 qrts throw this system so far.
