It has been coming on while hittin 70mph+ for a little while now...I noticed a squealing this morning, almost like a tick/squeal coming from under the hood. Still not sure if its belts or if it may be something Oil related. Oil should be fine if mechanics do their job...anyone have ideas? This...
First idea did not work, I didn't mention the transfer case fuse because when I said "disconnect the negative terminal for a bit over 30 seconds on the battery, then reconnect it and start the truck" only to get a "well wait, wahere's the battery..ok..there's no terminals." Bah! booksmart truckdumb.
I'll mention this, a call to our mechanic said something about a default setting..I don't know..either way..what is the cause of this? I'm sure he went into 4wd-lo with out skipping a beat in drive, as he isn't very experienced.
My brother just called as he was going onto a lake to go ice fishing, apparently he pushed one of the 4wd and now both of the lights, top and bottom are lit. Any ideas? Trucks, got miles and use with 4wd, mainly high or auto. Wind chill is way below zero here, could something have froze to cause...
