i took apart my glove box to get to the xm tuner. i got the antenna off, but the other connection there is a blue piece that you have to pull up or out before undo it?? how can you reach it?? is there a tool that would help? any help will be greatly appreciated.

i am using a autotek amp i got for $60 online its 400w, nothing special. but it sounds good. it amp is mounted under the rear driver side bucket.

if you are talking about the sub in the rear driver quarter panel? i have a kicker 8" cvt 4ohm. it sounds great. but i had it professionally installed. there are mods you need to make to the box, to get the sub to fit.

i get 13 city 15 hwy not a heavy foot either. the rpm's are always around 2k or lower. im going to do an intake next month and see if that helps. i think the winter gas just sucks!

mine also does something similar between 50-60 when foot off the gas, but goes away after stepping on the gas

has anyone tried the gas magnet gimmic? like the as seen on tv?? i think its BS but they say 3-5 mpg gain. anyone try it?

i have a 04 z71 i am looking for some performance and mpg help. i am looking at the volant powercore cai and a magnaflow exhaust. is a k&n cai better? any suggestions thanks -Bill

wow gas is 5.54 a gallon in dallas. In ct i just paid 1.52 a gallon at the samsclub. but ct is trying to add more gas tax to our already high tax.

i am also in the same boat. i get maybe 12-13 city / 15-16 hwy. i have new tires also. but mine is a z71 package, not sure if that makes it burn up more gas.
