Darth Vader, your SUV is waiting for you :D
Looks dang good!
We have a blacked out Yukon here and it has personal plates with a somewhat spelling of Mad Max (madmaxx) I believe, awesome rig.
Love it.

I bought ceramic pads and good quality rotors from Schmucks and have no problems. Also, for giggles, make sure it's the brakes and not your emergency brakes, mine wore down metal to metal and finally figured it out to the emergency brakes.

I have rear disk brakes on my Yukon and the rotors came right off with removal of the calipers of course. easy job, done about 10 minutes each side (not including jacking up, wheel removal/installation).
I would get someone else to look at it or try yourself. Easy job.
Meguiars has a new Chrome Polish that you can use, seems to work great from what I read on MOL.
Also, Meguiars Hot Rims Mag and Aluminum polish is made for Chrome as well
Try that

I paid 15,999 for my '00 in '05, 2wd 67,000 miles on her, no third seat in this model (told they came in '00 or '01)
Seems the demand for full size SUV's are quite low.
I think it's a good buy, you could blue book it and see what it's going for.
Mine is an SLE.

Those crown vics can go! I love ours, the interceptors that is :D The regular crown vic we use for school doesn't seem to have that extra oomph :D
My only problem so far is the 2nd air injection valve went bad (seems to be common) and I put the fixed orifice pcv as it was burning oil, not...
I thought I read somewhere there is a relay to power the fogs once the headlights or parking lights are on. Could be the relay is shot. It might be located under the hood in the electrical fuse box.....Just thinking outloud here.

piston slap. I use Mobil 1 with Napa Gold/Wix filters, no more slap. 124,000+ miles on the clock.
I also seafoam the Yukon 3-4 times a year (every season)

I've seen touch up paint used in layers wet sanded (be careful) and another layer as needed to fill the chip. Don't want to try to fill it with one layer. Then polish it out.
Good luck, I hate that. I tell my kids when they get out to "LOOK OUT FOR OTHER CARS"

Products used:
Tires-Meguiars Hot Shine Aerosol can.
Wheels-Meguiars Hot Rims multi piece cleaner (if they are bad)-wax and polish as paint as they are machined clear coat. Maintain with Meguiars Wheel Detailer.
Paint-ScratchX on deeper scratches, Meguiars wash, Meg's clay, Meg's #80...
IF its only in the clear coat, try ScratchX and use some elbow grease try more than one pass, it may not get rid of it, but may soften the scratch so it's not so noticeable.......

On my 2WD, I was able to remove the "do not remove" part and filled it with grease and clean my speed sensors and they roll fine and no more abs shimmy when I stop at a stop sign. Easy to remove and replace on 2WD that is.....

Bought my Yukon 2WD with 67,000 miles and have over 124,000 miles on her now, no problems (or at least major) just do your maintenance and she'll run a long time. We get 265,000+ on our Sheriff Tahoes and you know how cops drive :D

I wouldn't use steel wool, I would use a dedicated chrome polish and wax them. I use Meguiars Hot Rims Mag and Aluminum polish and it works like a charm for chrome, then use Meguiars #26 for wax.
Steel wool doesn't look like it will scratch, but some alcohol applied and a xenon light may...
Thanks, we love the color, not real common. The wife wants those same smitybilt, but gonna wait. Need a new grille as a phesant went through ours and broke a lot of slats and pretty much shattered the plastic. Used Goop to keep it stable until we get a new one. They aint cheap.
I like the...
If memory serves they are located under the intake manifold.
If it were me, and I'm no expert, run some seafoam through the engine (1/3 thru brake booster line), put some in the gas tank (1/3 in tank) and I run the other 1/3 in the oil and have no problems (knock on wood). I have 124,000+...
