Update. Well got the new injector in and noticed a big difference. I guess you could say its running stock but compared to the way it was running, big difference. Not to hard to change out the injector. Oh yeah, check out car-stuff.com. Thats were I picked up that $40 fuel injector.
I'm about to change my fuel injector this coming sunday. One of my buddies who is a mechanic for the Sheriff's Dept. will be helping me. Just in case you're wondering on theprices, I got my fuel injector for $40 compared to $90 plus at the dealer and the auto parts stores. My Yukon had the SES...
I can only imagine the elbow grease that goes into restoring these wheels. Good job man. They kinda look like the wheels on a 2000 Z71 Tahoe. Either way, can't beat it especially since you got them for cheap.
Yeah that sounds like a good plan. I assume you won't have these on for the winter at all? If you're going to store them, then yeah wax and put a note on them saying, "Do Not Touch Til Spring." Better to do them right the 1st time, than fixing your rushed job.
Dang! It hurts me just looking at the pictures. Hey, I probably would have done the same thing anyways. Just as long as you keep it upright, you're good.
I'm going to leave the suspension stock for now, just want to get some new wheels for it. Then put these black wheels back on my 94 Kon. Blacked out tails would be nice, along with a maybe a wire mesh grill. Wouldn't want it too flashy.
On a side note, Blizzard, the location of where you took the picture of your Denali is about 15-20 miles west of where I reside. Small world. Little changes go a long way.
I took the tails off, used 600 grit and wet sanded them. After, cleaned them and masked off the rest of the taillights. Put down about 3-4 coats of transparent candy apple red (or until they looked about the right amount of red) then set aside to dry off. That was it, smooth and shiny.
Well found out its the #2 cyclinder fuel injector. Did different test to find out exactly. Should get to new one this week, try to install, but if not this weekend. It gets too dark early, plus we got some snow.
