I checked the CarFax and it said the vehicle had 50,000 miles in 2002 when he bought it. He is the only the second owner so that would mean in 6 years he has driven 21,000 miles! He mentioned the gas gage doesn’t work. Could that be a sign of him tampering with the odometer?

I am looking at a 2000 GMC Yukon. The odometer reads 71,000 miles. This seems pretty low. The vehicle is in great shape and well taken care of. Is there a way the current owner could have messed with the odometer? I have never owned a GMC but I know with Ford I have heard stories of owners...
