This still makes me wonder. I have driven on freeways where it is constantly shifting back and forth from V4 and V8 because of overpasses. If I didn't have it on Trip A or B where I could see the mode, I would not know when it changed.
I haven't tried an SD card but there should be a slot for one, have to look at my LTZ in the morning. I put all my digitized music on a USB flash drive. I picked up a couple of 128GB flash drives on Amazon for about $45. I think a USB flash drive will read better than an SD card also.
Has anyone found the little green car at the bottom of the info screen telling there is a car in front of you useful? I can see where it might be in foggy conditions
I can set the info screen so I can see if it is V4 or V8 mode. At freeway speeds, I cannot tell when it switches back and forth. Either by sound or feel.
I find it easier to go through the manual on my desktop. Here is a link to it.

The problem with the new vehicles is that so many things can be programmed. I mean you can have defrosters or seat AC or heating come on when you start the vehicles
As to your seats make sure the Auto Memory Recall is not turned off. As to the parking assist that may not be set correctly in...
I can't answer about the remote. However, if you get the smartphone OnStar Remotelink app, you can start it from it. That should be from just about anywhere.

Well I went from a 2001 to a 2015 so never saw the "Fuel Used" I have had my LTZ since April and I don't see one so guess they got rid of it. The OnStar Remote link smartphone app will tell you the Tank Level % and Fuel Left in gallons plus Fuel Range. But you have to update it manually.
I have noticed the same with my new Tahoe. Check the manual at page 6-8. It says this is normal and there is an Electric Power Management system that adjusts the voltage to prolong battery life. It uses the term generator so maybe they went back to the old generator and added electronics to it.
If you go into Settings/Vehicle/Passive Door Unlock you can select all doors or just driver's door. Just driver's door would probably be the safest for a woman. I did not see a way to turn it off.
You probably can, there are a ton of features and options you can program, some of which I still probably haven't found yet. I don't think someone can unlock it with the button if the ignition is on or maybe even if you are in the vehicle. Go into settings and select vehicle. You can even...
My 2015 LTZ came with about 4 USB ports. I have over 500 LPs that I digitized a few years back. Full fidelity, click and pop removed as .wav files. I can put all 500 on a couple of USB drives and not worry about CDs or DVDs.
I would be surprised if it was not already set up for it with the holes for the twist locks. Easier to make all the bumpers the same. While it comes with the LTZ, it is a dealer add on for other models.Just stop by a Chevy dealer and ask. MSRP is $110 and I am sure they will install it for that...
