Hey forum I am looking for a pair of power running boards for a 2007 Tahoe at a decent price of the couple of company's I have found on line they all seem to be universal and at a crazy price
Any help is greatly Appreciated
Like I said I haven't brought back any tahoes yet mainly bmw's and Mercedes but I would think its covered all the same your best bet would be to call your local chev dealer and ask they should be able to tell you what's what. Last year I had a issue with a new chev truck I was driving down to...
I have brought many cars and trucks up from the states the warranty is still good in Canada as for things you will need to change not much the only real difference will be the speedo mph/kph will be flipped compared to a Canadian version and the only other thing is paying the duty taxes at the...
I have the hitch cover for a Tahoe and they are Completely different the parts guy at my local chev dealer ordered me the Yukon cover by Accident and when I got home to install it came to find out its not even close
Nice kit it looks the way gm should have done it I was wondering if you knew the part numbers for what you ordered because there web site is a little confusing thanks
To be honest I have upgraded the brakes on my truck to cross drilled rotors and upgraded pads I noticed a big difference when I am getting off the hwy there isn't any brake fade and I don't warp rotors anymore and the rest of the braking system is the same as stock the only real difference is...
I don't think your problem is the tire size but the back spacing I am guessing that you have aftermarket rims I run 20's on my 07 2wd 305/50/20 and don't have any problems if that's the case I guess the cheap way to go would be spacers to push the rims out but to be honest there not the greatest...
I have a 07 ppv Tahoe and I replaced the stock rotors with crossed drilled rotors and upgraded pads and I haven't had a single problem since and the braking is much better now I don't get any brake fade when getting on the brakes from higher speeds it is probably one of the best up grades I have...
I have a 07 ppv package there isn't a lot of difference the suspension is upgraded and the computer is also different such as no speed limiter it depends on if your Tahoe and the ppv hoe is 4x4 or 2wd if there not the same not much is transferable from one to another
Read your post and it caught my eye I have the same truck in a 07 model I have done similar things to it but I took the Programer out because unless you get one with a program for all the other mods you have done to your truck it thinks its stock and actually gives a lack of power and response...
I have run in to the samething 07 ppv Tahoe I talked to a couple of service techs at the dealership and they tell me it's normal in the newer engines because of how gm has changed thing internally to make the engines work with the flex fuel systems supposedly it doesn't hurt emissions but...
It sounds like you some how switched the 12 volt and acc power leads your going to have to pull the head unit and check the voltage the only other thing could be a faulty bypass for the stereo I hade the same problem and it was the the bypass
Hope this helps
I just replaced all the speakers in my truck it's pretty easy there is three bolts that you have to take out first one is behind the handle just pop the cover off and the other two are behind a cover where the handle is that you would pull the door closed here is a couple of pics then you pull...
I know it sounds crazy but check the spark plug wires I had the same codes and it was a bad wire shorting out and for some reason it threw out the same codes hope this helps
Hey saw your post and it reminded me of what I was trying to do a couple of years ago if your trying to save money on gas it's the old story of you get what you pay for I tried to go the cheap route with a chip off eBay and 2 months later I was buying a hypertech Programer and as for a cold air...
I actually have a police pkg Tahoe and I do know depending on the kind of pkg depends on what type of badging they get but it is done by the company that does the final set up for instance if its a k9 truck like mine was it got k9 inforcer badges on the back windows some get completely debaged...
