I think if it comes to having to get a new radio to get the service, then I'm done as I like my existing head unit and I don't want to change it or have to put out more money, I cheap like that.

The way I understand it is the band width restrictions, as I think they have to give up some bandwidth.

I have found Map quest to be somewhat inaccurate, I would just get a GPS unit.

The problem with this whole thing is at some point, you will need a whole new radio to get all of the XM and SIRIUS channels.

I know that the Direct TV XM is a separate deal.

I have Direct TV and 2 XM accounts, one being in the Tahoe and we didn't get any discount from Direct, how ever we get the family and freinds discount because I have a portable XM and the Tahoe subscription.
