Thanks lester! I forgot to mention that my Tahoe is a 1999. I will give all of that a run thru and see what I can find. The funny thing is when in park, the idle is fine, and just as soon as I put it in gear (any gear) the idle goes high. I would think that eliminates mechanical sticking...
I am just started experiencing the same issue today. I notice when I put it in gear that the RPM's rose and I had to hold the brake to keep it from running away. I am not sure where to begin to look. It doesn't matter if I am in drive or reverse, it idles higher for a while but eventually goes...

I am in the middle of a pump replacement and on the rear is a switch of some kind (I am not sure 100% what it is) and I cannot figure out how to remove the old one. I have the new pump and it has a place for it and even came with a new o'ring but how does one remove this? I have been searching...
