Fixed the tailgate Just wanted to let you all know. I removed the inner panel from the tailgate and the latch assy cover. I discovered the clip which holds the latch rod from the handle to the release rods had fallen off. I figured it was broke but found the white little plastic connector...

All of a sudden my tailgate will not open. What do I have to do to get inside this thing? Any tricks? I see the lock moving when I hit my remote. Tried the key but if feels like it is not unlaching the gate. Thanks
