well i put a call in to LMC but they dont have the 98-99 straps :( .. i guess its gonna have to be ratchet straps till i can figure something out. lol hope they hold up with the snow and salt.:whymewhyme:

lesterl thanks for the info.. http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/csd/full.aspx?Page=93 is what i see but the ones for the 98-99 straps have no part number only for the #2 bolts. All i am looking for is the fuel tank straps. any ideas would help. Thank you again

might sound silly but i have had the same problem before if my gas cap wasnt on all the way, or bad in general.. something to check. good luck

yeah i found that as well.. i went to buy them and they dont have them.. nor does a place called oemparts but they have them listed as well.. i check out and then they send me a email saying discontinued. sad this day and age with computers they dont know what they have in inventory till someone...
