My wifes 2004 Tahoe seems to have developed a strange ticking noise when the RPMs are between 1500 and 2000 RPMs. It doesn't matter what gear it is in just that the rpms are in that range. It has 104k miles on it. Any ideas as to what that might be?

That is actually the sensor for the climate control. The speaker I am talking about is mounted on the side of the overhead console. I will try to get some pictures posted today.
