AAHTahoe,
Isn't it ridiculous that Phoenix with almost 4 million people and no E85 is available to the public? And only one place in Tucson has it also. I was told long ago that is was a beaucratic thing that the AZ government wants control over it. It IS being widely used here in Phoenix but...
You don't say where in AZ you are, but if in the Phoenix area call Chad at Sands Chevrolet in Glendale at 623-842-5279. He will give you the correct answer.
Don't know why the wait as I just had mu 07 Yukon XM antenna replaced last week. It was broken loose from the roof and since the repair has not leaked (been thru car washes). It only took one day to get the new antenna. I am in AZ also.
I bought mine from a company here in Phoenix who deals in lots of accessories for all cars. I paid $850 for the nav unit which are new takeouts (from what I understand) which is way cheaper than what they go for on eBay. You can call "Big Ed" at 1-800-334-4496 or local at 602-275-9211. You will...
Gettreal,
The switch for the fog lights is located right under the switch for the interior lights on the left side between the headlight switch and the 4wd switch (if you have 4wd) and the small round knob that controls the dash dimming is in the center. It is the same size as the interior...
Has anyone else noticed that in bright sunlight the instrument panel is very hard to read if not almost impossible especially when wearing sunglasses (as we must do here in Phoenix). I searched the net and there have been many complaints about this an there is a GM bulletin out about this #4222...
Does anybody know if GM offers the Homelink garage door opener as a kit for the 07's? Any problems installing one or does it have to come from the factory?
Thanks
Today I went on a quest for a wood trim surround for my 07 Yukon radio. To make a long story short there is no such animal that will match the GMC factory GMC wood which is called "Saple". I ended up at a Chev dealer to see if the Tahoe wood was even close and it is not. For those that want the...
Those are not the ones I am looking for. Those go to the brake controller, large red is for the 12v, large blue is for the electric brakes, small white is for the ground and small blue is for the stop light switch (used on some controllers). I am looking for the wire that goes to the Tow/Haul...
Anybody know which wire on my 07 Yukon and where it would be located would be "hot" when the "tow mode" button is pressed? I would like to tap into the "hot" side when the button is put into tow mode and have no 12v when in normal driving mode. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks
I would like to know too, good looking grille -- I called the dealership that has it on that Yukon and was told they wanted $995 installed and $895 for just the parts!!! I then asked him who made the grille and he says they do!! Yeah, right! He also said that price included color-matching to the...
Underneath the dash on the left side right behind or very near the connector that the tech's use to hook up their diagnostic tool is a taped bundle of four wires for the brake controller, a large red, large blue, small white and small blue that connect to your brake controller (some controllers...
I know, but you would have to change the heavy cables and the junction block location, don't know why they moved it next to the firewall, maybe for weight distribution?
1--The inability to disarm the automatic door locking system - this is at the top of the list
2--The Nav system starting up the disc spinning when a door is opened - stupid
3--Ruining the flat cargo area floor beneath the middle seats and the plastic rails in the rear area (makes stuff sit...
I have had my Yukon for about a week now also and I already installed the Husky splash guards. They look real good and are pretty easy to install yourself. I got mine here, was the cheapest I could find and they shipped very fast. You will need a drill to drill thru some plastic, phillips...
The mod for the cb worked out great. Not only was there room enough but at the bottom there were two bolts mounted/welded into the floor pointing straight up that I was able to use to bolt the cb bracket onto that I made! That console is real easy to get wires into and out of also!
I really don't know the exact amount as it was part of the deal when I bought it. I had made the same deal at another dealer but he could not produce the vehicle I wanted and he figured $800 for the mirror install. He said that his cost on the mirrors were $260 each and around $100 for the...
Just returned from my 200 mile round trip to my selling dealer to have the power folding/turn signal mirrors installed and the nav radio flashed and am happy to report all went well! Everything is back to normal and the nav is a neat unit and I have zero whine or buzzing from it. Was the first...
Thanks, I had intended to twist the wires and forgot in my haste to get it done. If it becomes an issue I will either add the drain wire, twist the others or simply just disconnect it.
