I wanna see that. Don't forget to post the pics.

    Anyone have rockstar rims?

Really? You'd flip how many I see here everyday. I don't think they're bad looking at all, just "boring", but that's only because I see them all the time. I thought they were cool as $hit when they first came out. But imo, I think they look better with meaty off-road tires on a lifted truck, so...

    Got my auto start :D

I sent the info to you in your email. You should be able to find the 1700G for under $50. The XK01 module goes anywhere from $60-$100. The 1700G is cheaper, but the XK01 may be easier for you to help integrate the remote start system.

    Got my auto start :D

Directed's 1700G module and Xpress Kit's XK01 will take care of both the immobilizer bypass and door lock interface. I'm going to send you some wiring info via email.

External antenna. Range should be well over 15ft. All you need to disassemble is the kneebolster panel. Most, if not all, your connections will be made at the ignition harness and bcm. You'll also need a GM passkey override module, and if your truck is an 03+ model, you'll also need an interface...

    Anyone have rockstar rims?

I get a truck/suv in the shop at least every other day with Rockstars. Played out around here. Are you looking for pics to see how it would look? If so, check out the gallery;I believe there are some people here with those wheels.

You can roll the windows back up via remote if you need to.

    Got my auto start :D

15 ft? You almost have to be outside anyway to start the truck then if that's the case. Does the system not come with an external antenna? If the antenna is a length of wire coming out of the receiver, then place it as high as possible and away from metal. Best place for that would probably be...

    TheftLock 2000 Tahoe Radio ??

I can't say 100% that it will work, but from my experience, I think you shouldn't have a problem at all.

    TheftLock 2000 Tahoe Radio ??

I've been dealing with oem and aftermarket 12v electronics for almost 17 yrs and have never come across a GM Theftlock radio from a GMT800 that needed a code. There are other OE radios from other GM vehicles that need a code if power is lost though, like a lot of Olds and Buick models.

    radio removial

There is a large black clip on each side of the radio. Push them down and pull the radio straight out.

    Just one question please!!

I think it is running boards, but my last French class was about 18 yrs ago.

    BREMBO Brakes !@&%#*!!!!

Most of the aftermarket brake systems use fixed calipers with multiple pistons. Also, the rotors in some kits are a two piece design. The types of materials used in both the caliper assembly and rotors and the strict manufacturing tolerances also dictate the price as well.

    BREMBO Brakes !@&%#*!!!!

The best brakes won't help you stop faster if the traction isn't there. If your current set-up is good enough to activate the abs system or lock the tires on non-abs equipped vehicles, then the larger kit won't help. If you have an upgraded wheel/tire package and/or much stickier tires that are...

    Pics of member's rides (Updated)

Good point. If you would like to quote someone's post that has pics, you can go back and delete the img code so that only the text appears while you're in the reply window. This way the pics won't show up in multiple posts. I went back through and removed the mulitple pics to help keep the...

Elect? reverse, drl's on with puddles

03+ models had this feature built in. To wire the 00-02 models, you would need to wire in a relay to connect the reverse lights and drls to the puddle light circuit and use a couple diodes to prevent voltage feedback, still keeping the circuits independent of each other when activated. I'm in...

    headlight install

Those sound like they are wired a little different than mine. Try connecting both red wires to the brown parking light wires. The halo's ground might be connected with the other circuits already in the housing. If that's the case, then the red wires might be the positive side for both pairs of...

Off Topic I think. Stereo related though

Sorry bro, but I don't have any left, not enough that would be worth it anyway. You can use both Dynamat and jute. That's what I did. I used the Dynamat to deaden the resonance and sympathetic vibration caused from the larger spans of sheetmetal, and the denseness of the jute to help insulate...

    So I got these kickers...

With the stock radio, you'll need a LOC and a wiring kit for the amp (power and ground wire, remote wire, fuse/fuse holder, rca cable, and related terminals). I know the amp states 2000 watts, but it probably isn't CEA-2006 compliant either, meaning it's more than likely exaggerated. Check the...
