I gotta respect a man who's thinkin'. See now, you gotta go get you a dwarf girlfriend, man -- that'd be kinky. She'd make quick work of that giant lifted Hoe; wouldn't even have to bend over. Or maybe get a couple of dwarf chicks with the Hoe in the mud hole, whatever you're into.
Dude, that picture is freakin HILARIOUS -- do you see that fool in the background with the bright yellow sign? I wonder if he got his eyes scratched out trying to make a hasty exit... :smilielol::smilielol::smilielol:
Now that sounds like a better idea! ;) Let us know if you do it -- that'd be really cool... Too bad it doesn't somehow increase the towing capacity -- I wonder if they can reinforce the frame somehow?
The Unpopular Choice
HMMMMmmmm. I grit my teeth every time this topic comes up, and never respond, but I think I'll let the cat outta the bag this time. I ain't hatin' on any of ya, and just hear me out...
Don't lease. Leasing is a mistake, unless you're not the one paying the payments (i.e...
Oh, and no, my Caravan does not use sealed beams. I think sealed beams went bye-bye for many vehicles in the early late 80's / early 90's. The third generation '96 and newer Dodge / Plymouth / Chrysler vans all use 9000 series replacement bulbs in headlamp assemblies. I'd have no problem...
Don't confuse yourself...
Halogen gases are what pressurizes modern incandescent headlights. Sealed beam is just the style of headlights. Sealed beams are the entire headlight bulb / assembly, like on the old Hoes/Burbs/Kons from 94-99. An "incandescent bulb" is general term for a light bulb...
Yeah, 6000K is as blue as I'd ever go, and that's pushing it for me. I have 5300K bi-xenons for my headlights, and 5000K's in my fogs. They're already a teeny bit bluish, and they're distinguishable from standard halogen gas incandescent lights, which is what I wanted. They also aren't so...
HID = High Intensity Discharge
These are Xenon plasma arc lamps that emit extremely bright light. You see them on Acura TSX's, Cadillac Escalades, and other newer vehicles (Buick Enclave, etc).
Read more on them over here.
You can get kits that have the HID lamps (bulbs), and the additional...
I'm with ya...
Good analysis -- thanks for your answer!
I would hope that the 5.3L would be quieter than the 6.2L (with it's beefy 3.5" exhaust), and can definitely agree w/r/t difficulty of finding second-row-bench-seaters. We inventory-searched all dealers within 150 miles and couldn't...
Couple of thangs:
1) VERIFY that the housings are metal and glass if you're not 100% sure; sounds you need to take 'em out and check.
2) IF the current bulbs are 35W or higher, I'd say you're fine to put in HIDs. They may be H11 size, but a lower wattage... Remember most HIDs are 35W.
3)...
I installed a Gen-3 (not a GMX-320) in like 20 minutes. No real previous experience, just followed the instructional video on their site. Really simple, and not a single problem. I wouldn't pay for an installation of something so easy, but hey, if you're nervous and don't wanna mess with it...
Yup -- exactly why I'm considering doing it myself unless I can find a shop that'll do work like this (daaayyyynnnnggggg!) for a semi-sane price... Thank you VERY much for the confirmation and the information!
Prolly should do it yerself...
$300.00+, no clay-bar or polish tho. I suspect that a true professional job would be $400.00. My guy did a great job, but I think I will be investing in the gear and supplies to do this myself. I figure that's the only way it'll get done right. Ask Trend...
