I could not find the pics that I have on my computer, so here are several from online.

I want to do something similar to the second one...
Not a bazooka fan at all.
I would recommend going with a simple custom (home made) box. Are you planning on keeping the spare tire in your truck? I too have a 93 Yukon and ended up putting in on top. If your going to keep the tire inside you can create a pretty simple board to mount the amp...
I want the same set up in my truck, but want to exit out in front of the wheels, do you have any clips of what yours sounds like? I have a few pics of it exiting out the side I'll try to post soon.
We did get it working the next day...the issue ended up being a dead cap; I don't think I have ever heard of a cap going bad. We also ended up getting a new bigger amp. The new one is a little bigger but is a class D rather than a B and sounds 100x better.
But on a side note, a second hand...
I like the look without them and having them is nice for those with kids/significant others that are shorter. I personally took mine off but might put some power ones on at some point.
I have the same kind of question...I have been running high milage castrol oil in my truck since I bought it, currently has 185,xxx miles on it. I have been thinking of going to synthetic but everyone I talk to, stores/shops, say that I might be better off sticking with what I currently use as...
Those are some interesting results...I hate trouble shooting things like that.
I installed a sub, amp, cap and internals for a friend and when I was all done the music only cam out at 1/4 volume, when turned up to max, and when it played for longer than 30 seconds everything would turn off...
I would also note that what ever some cities put on their roads can do major damage. I had not a single spot of rust on my '93 until I moved to Eastern Washington for school. There they spray aircraft deicer all over all the time. This $h!t is bad! After the first winter I got rust on my lug...
My '93 Yukon is the SLE model...I like to refer to it as the Super Luxury Edition. It came stock with all the bells and whistles you could every possible think of...then I went and added a real wood trim kit that included the replacement of the center consol.
If you're going to build a custom exhaust I would recommend having the tail pipes exit from infront of the rear tires. This will get you a "nice deep aggressive tone".
I want to do the same think, I think having the exhaust exit through the rear quarter panels gives your truck a super nice...
I was going to say that the latch is probably there, but the little piece of plastic came off or the entire piece broke off.
My parents had this issue with their 97 suburban and I was able to move the seat up/down with some needle nose pliers.
As to fixing it, I am not sure what you can do...
Incredible truck!
How did you get a deal like that?
My Yukon was the same way, the people I bought it from did not clean it, inside or out, before I drove it way.
I currently have two 1000D Amps running to one 12"...I can almost blow women's clothes off :yesnod:
...once my garage clears up I want to install everything into my car to see what everything sounds like in a small vehicle.
