i believe i saw it in a truckin' issue when the 07's came out. i think they used a heat gun on the gold part and simply peeled the gold away. what you are left with is an all chrome bowtie. i'm not to sure if that is what you are settling for but it beats having to paint another replacement that...

damn, i like that! your rims look really smooth and clean. even though, their white, i'm pretty sure it's easy to keep those clean. white on white actually is pretty nice.
