pcm from a junkyard or even a friend with a 98' or 99' is worth a try

maybe try another pcm. sometimes they just don't give a code. to go from getting 390mpg to 200; there must surely be a problem. my 97' with 4.10 gears, no cats, no egr, and a BB tuned pcm gets 349 hwy. But the tuned pcm gives fewer codes so I sometimes have to replace it with my stock pcm just...

Also try cleaning your MAF meter. Gave me an improvement.

I would keep the stock intake. To me, some aftermarket intakes makes no sense. The filter sits there exposed to underhood temps that actually kills HP. Stock box will suck cooler air from the fender well. As far as wheels go, lots of nbs wheels fit. I luv the 20x8.5 Sierra/Denali wheel(5306)...

This is also my plan but instead of flowmaster im going with Magnaflow muffler 12588. Will make a little more power but not sure of any mpg gain without a Tune.
