No gear indicator light, no speedometer and no rpm gauge? What could be the problem? 1996 5.7 vortec tahoe

I had my truck diagnosed with a snap on scanner and it showed multiple misfires on cylinder 3. Changed plug to see if it runs better and it did at first, but, I noticed a little hesitation so I will check the cap and rotor today. I sprayed carb cleaner around intake and detected no leak.
