If you remove them, don't forget to get mudflaps. Your running boards act as mudflaps for the front. Without them, you're going to kick stuff up onto your doors. Save yourself the headache of scratched paint and immediately put on mudflaps.

I never said "don't replace your ball joints." From my experience, the crossmember where the tortion bars connect to has caused the same symptoms that they are both describing.

I've always though my truck was leaning funny. I wrote it off to being in crappy parking lots. Today, I decided to measure left to right at the wheel wells.
Front driver's side is 5/8" shorter than the front passenger's side.
Rear driver's side is 1-7/8" shorter than the rear passenger's...
Be careful on removing the bulb in the headlight switch. I took mine out and then turned the switch. Apparently, they built the switch so that once you take the twist lock base out, the whole switch comes apart if you mess with it. I did it outside and was searching for tiny springs and ball...
I installed foglights on my Tahoe... too bad I didn't install them in the wife's Saturn, we drove through the bad weather in the Cleveland area during the heavy snow fall this past Saturday.
So, I've been thinking, if I had whiter lgihts like the Silverstars, wouldn't the snow fall glare be...
I read somewhere on here that one guy has been trying to drive while keeping the tach under 2k.
I took this a little further. I try to stay under 1500 on my tach. That means slow accelleration. I also try to get off the gas before a stop light at least 50 yards before and coast to it.
I...
Right now, they don't offer E85 in my area, but if they do and it's the same price as regular, I'd use it. I'll be green if it doesn't cost me anything extra.
Anyway... what changes need to be done to make a regular gasoline engine burn E85?

Follow the torsion bars to where they connect to the crossmember. Now, depending on the model you have, holding the crossmember to the frame is what looks like an aluminum twisted figure 8. Mine was broke in half and my suspension was doing exactly what yours was doing. Grab the crossmember and...
I was thinking about this too. Ideally, you'd only need a larger intake tube where it goes into the inner fender and a high flow air filter using a stock type box.
So, technically, someone making a new bottom for the stock box, and an adapter that gets put into the side that will hold a...
Since it being winter, usually, that's when headlights burn out. I like to have extra bulbs at home in stock.
What's the best bulbs to replace the low beams (9006) with?
HID, is too pricey. And I see Silver Stars are $50.00 for 2. That seems kinda steep, but not out of the running...
I had to replace my marker bulbs and headlights, I had to remove the grill. Even my Haynes manual said to remove the grill. I have a 99 (early model) 4 door Tahoe.

No, they're not aluminum blocks.
Man, think about it, how much weight can you lose by switching to an aluminum block? How much fuel economy can you gain?
