Though this whole thing sounds fishy.....
Hornet is an aftermarket security/remote start company. Their website is: http://www.hornetcarsecurity.com/
Try them. They should be able to sell you the key fob and your manual should tell you how to program your alarm.

Thanks.
Damnit! Why didn't I think of that. I have $1000s in tools and 2 different fish tapes! Now I might go back and re-run it correctly. (but probably not, I'm lazy. lol)
Oh... 1 screw was rusted. I'm going to replace them with SS screws all the way around. I think the MFG should...
Ok, I finally ran my 4g power wire through the firewall.
On the passenger side, I put a 3/4" hole between the AC/Heater fan and the the wiring harness. I put it as low as I could because the harness's molex plug is kinda big in the engine compartment. In the hole I used a Streetwire...
I kept running through pads and re-surfacing rotors until I went over to Raybestos ceramic pads. My old pads were Autozone lifetime. Raybestos only had a one year, but they've been on there for far longer than one year. The brakes are great!
Word from the dealer was, switch to ceramic...
I have a factory CD player where you have that pocket. Is that a factory pocket?
Where you drilled the wire, where did it come out at in the interior? By the gas pedal?

What year is your Tahoe?
You can find wiring help at:
www.the12volt.com
www.bulldogsecurity.com
Either will have enough info to help you find the wires.
Truthfully, if you find the "brain" of the remote start, trace the wires back and you'll find where they are connected.
If you...
Ok, maybe no one uses a battery isolater.
What I can tell you is on my Tahoe, the 3 post battery isolator does not work.
I think I have to use a CS type (4 post) battery isolator but am not 100% sure.

I have a 99 Tahoe 4x4 4 door 350 cu in. I have a battery isolator, but it doesn't work with the GM Alternator. Apparently the alternator is not self exciting
Does anyone else use a battery isolator? What did you use?

Front doors, you'll need to go to the dealer and get new bushings and most likey new pins and retainer. You'll need a jack as well as GM spring too.
I'm going to get my spring tool from Harbor freight. The jack he wants me to use is a scissor type jack. That way you can finely adjust the...
If the grommet that you're speaking of is the one that the wire is going through, my 4 gauge wire won't fit in there. My wire is too big to fit in there. Looks like I'm going to have to drill.
But the grommet will work for the fog lights and the hood pin switch (remote start).

I'm from Ohio. For here, it all depends.
Around here, we have vehicles with bad bodies and good engines. Down south, the have good bodies and bad engines.
(Rust and winter accidents vs good weather and driving the crap out of a car)
I bought my 99 Tahoe with 90k miles. Engine was...
You can't weld? Let's see if I can come up with another option....
By the looks of it, you might be able to get away with sanding and fiberglass. Get a piece of chicken wire as your support structure. Put the fiberglass mat over it and shove it in the hole so that the chicken wire holds...
