    Alignment and steering issue.

I would like to see the spec sheet printout. All within spec is bull$hit. I can tell you what may be the problem if I can get the readout or at least you reply with readout numbers for each side.

    HELP!

I bet she doesn't think he is much of anything. What tool drops his phone down a vent. Those things don't have that big an opening. Maybe she grabbed it and held it hostage till he pissed her off and then dropped it down the rabbit hole. I would have paid to see that! :peace:

    HELP!

rocken, as far as I am concerned when you join a forum you need to contribute. I do as well as you. To join just to get help instead of being here for a while and getting to know people and also helping is just another sign of the entitlement crowd that walk around. I bet he didn't just buy the...

    HELP!

And I will be sure to remember your screen name so as not to help. If you can't take a joke without name calling then you need to leave and have mommy hold you.

    HELP!

Two suggestions. 1. Try getting to know everyone here before the very first post is for help right after you join. 2. Don't drop the phone.

    Engine Replacement 04 z71

Yep, the radiator protects that new engine and I can tell you that at different places on that new engine there will be tabs that are heat sensitive that will tell Jasper in a warranty situation, never had one with them, whether you overheated the engine and that is what caused the failure. The...

    Engine Replacement 04 z71

If you are keeping then do a Jasper reman engine, none better IMO. They also can supply an engine install kit at a reduced price. That includes belts, hoses, gaskets....etc. The tech you are dealing with hopefully knows that replacing the engine is just part of it. It will only run and perform...

    Differential fluid change question

If you are keeping the rig I would get that rear cover off. You may break some bolts and have to drill and re tap but I would want to see in there. Use a good penetrating fluid like Aero Kroil, the absolute best there is, and follow directions and open up and see if has any gear damage or any...

    Differential fluid change question

The G80 would be the code if you had it.

    Differential fluid change question

Mile count, correct? Use a hand pump and go thru the fill hole and pull as much old fluid out as you can. Refill with correct fluid. Rig must have been in a state that uses salt in the winter.

    Engine Replacement 04 z71

A lot has to do with the warranty and the quality of what you are getting and the split of labor and the rest. By the way, how is the engine "toast"? Not much detail here.

Please HELP - Service Battery Charging System

Very well is likely the alternator with an intermittent problem. Likely a diode trio causing that. Good luck.

    Suspension advice

If you are staying at stock ride height then I recommend Moog steering and suspension parts and Bilstein shocks. Do the idler arm and pitman arm as well. Replace the sway bar links and frame bushings with poly urethane bushings for a great cornering feel and do those both front and rear. Get an...

Can't take 99 Tahoe out of Park?

Stuck parking pawl can be a bitch. That can be easier if you use your parking brake on the incline before you release the brake pedal and let the vehicle lurch against the parking pawl. Another good reason to make sure the parking brake works and is adjusted correctly.

Can't take 99 Tahoe out of Park?

May be a failed stoplight switch or shift interlock solenoid.

    bizarre intermittent electrical issues

lesterl is right. With that many electrical issues it usually points to a ground problem. Make sure all connections in his list are clean and tight and have continuity.

Me here-looking at high mileage Tahoe/Suburban

I recently bought an 02 Tahoe and even with the 140k miles on it the thing that sealed the deal was getting all maintenance and repair paperwork from the one and only owners. There are lots of threads on here about the intake leaks, AFM engine problems, blend door actuators, serp belt tensioners...

    bizarre intermittent electrical issues

Anything is possible with the 99, 15-16 years old. Again, like lesterl says, check all the grounds and if you can do it see if where the steering wheel is tilted makes any difference when experience problems. Your friend could also be close, years of tilt wheel can wear out wiring in there.

Or are the front brakes hanging up and then releasing?
