    Installed my roll pan finally

Gave the truck a quick bath today and took a few more shots of the rollpan from different angles. Can't wait to get the front end blacked out and remove the side moulding in the next couple weeks.

Who here is running Mcgaughys spindles?

Same wheels, tires, etc, etc. that I had on before. Only part changed were the spindles. Before the install, the wheels sat flush with the fenders. Now they're out about a 1/4" on both sides. Is there a revised part/part number maybe?

    Tinted Tail lights – Pic

Looks great. Light output looks good considering how dark the lens' look in the pictures.

    Alarm install questions

You can get a normal key cut for these vehicles that will still start the vehicle, but there is still an anti-theft system that needs a bypass module installed. The system is built into the ignition cylider rather than the key itself, and activates when the ignition switch is turned.

    Alarm install questions

Like OMAR stated above, the truck doesn't use the older VATS system, but uses PKII instead, so you still need an override module. For the tach, you can use any of the fuel injector pulse wires as your tach source. Each injector will have two wires; one that is a common color on all eight...

    Installed my roll pan finally

I wish, but I haven't been able to find a set I really liked. I may end up ordering a set anyway later on and just tinting them with a couple light coats of black to blend in with the truck better. It's a Street Scene urethane rollpan from StylinTrucks.com I used the stock plate lights...

    Installed my roll pan finally

Thanks for the props guys:thumbsup: It's a urethane piece, so it's bolted in place. Once the tongue slides into place, the plate rests down about a 45* angle, so it's still visible.

    Installed my roll pan finally

These pictures aren't great at all. I took these with the truck dirty and in my garage at night. I'll snap some more shots once I wash the truck. I installed a Sir Micheals hide-away hitch behind the rollpan and a flip-up liscence plate so I can still tow the boat and car trailer around. Thanks...

Who here is running Mcgaughys spindles?

Just for the record; My McGaughy's spindles pushed the wheel out about a little over a 1/4" or so. May not be a big deal in most cases, but it was on mine. Also, the holes for the balljoints are just a bit small and I had to use a die grinder to remove some material in order to press in both the...

    Which Pioneer do you recommend

Pioneer has a firmware update for the new AVIC BT models. The latest update is the 2.0 and will take care of the slow startup process. The Pioneer units sell more than the Kenwood models do in my area. Most customers prefer the user menu and features of the newer AVIC models over the Kenwood...

    GMDLBP

You have to tag all four door trigger circuits and use diodes to isolate each door, or you can tag the domelight circuit. Using the domelight circuit will start the passive arm countdown once the delayed dome circuit shuts down. What year is your truck? 00-02 wiring is different than the 03-06...

    Steering wheel controls ?

You can use a crimp connector, but I always highly recommend soldering due to much less electrical property losses and greater reliability, especially in a constant vibration scenario like a vehicle. I've seen it thousands of times where I am troubleshooting an aftermarket component or wiring...

    Steering wheel controls ?

Once you have the dash bezel removed (the trim that goes around the ip, radio, hvac, etc), you can remove the steering column shroud and get to the harness from there. Locate the lt grn wire from the swc connector, strip back some of the insulation, and solder on the green wire from the...

Snapped some pics today (new rims on lifted 05 Yuk & 03 Cobra)

Nice set of vehicles. Truck looks great. I've built and ran camaros most my life, always had this thing against 'stangs, but your Cobra looks nice man. Good job on both.

    Oil Change reset

00-06. With the key in the run position, press the accelerator pedal down fully and release three times. The next time you start the truck, the Change Oil msg will flash 5 times then go off if cleared successfully.
