JVC makes a decent one to fit in a din space.

Are you able to switch the rear controls from floor to upper vents? May be a stuck actuator that controls the blend flap.

A company called SEM makes quality paints and dyes for automotive interiors. I use their products whenever I need to colormatch any custom interior pieces. Check your local automotive upholstery shops or on-line.

There isn't anything available to change the 00-02 to dd. You can swap in the 03-up bezels, but you still have to move the HVAC controls to fit properly. Here's an article on how I did mine.

If the thermistors are very dirty, sometimes just spraying them and letting them dry won't clean them well enough. There is an orange/white wire on the D3 harness that needs to connect to the vehicle's illumination wire. This wire should be orange as well on your aftermarket harness.
