my new tahoe has mirrors that have a mind of their own! everything was great until we changed them to the turn down in reverse mode. but absolutely didnt like it so i switched them back. now the passenger mirror goes all the way to the outside position everytime you open the door! suggestions?

ive read about the mirrors going down when you shift into reverse. my 08 LTZ isnt doing it so i assume this is an option you must activate. please help.
