What is the difference in doing this under the hood, and doing this under the steering coulmn so it seems is the other place to do it... Which is safer? Which is faster? Which is easier?
Agreed, I know where that Highs turning off the lows comment came from, maybe a misunderstanding.
Allow my to re present my question, can anything be shorted out in the install process if the diods touch metal or wire or something like that?
Thanks, im very nervous about me doing this on my own and effin something major up- but i'll give it a go... Im going to run hid lows and highs- even tho i dont ever think i'll really use my highs... but i wanna still have my flash- and i dont want it looking odd with halogen highs and HID lows...
So i guess im asking for the impossible....

I saw that... and i was researching that. I just need to do more research, because unless you have constant power with a HID kit on high beams, you cant flash. In my opinion, it doesnt look " seamless " having halogen highs and HID lows if your going to have them all running at the same time...
I have grey interior also- you can simply two-tone it ( door panels and dash ) and just do black seats and black carpet and liner- and paint those parts that need to be done.

i called the ddm tuning to ask the question also and they gave me a bit of advice i need to check about our trucks to possibly give me the answer or lead me in the direction im trying to get. If the escalades can have hids and flash, then why cant we with aftermarket kits?

Now can you tell me how this works, im not installing my HIDs but i just want to know what this will do. I read the site, but im kinda confused.
The common thought process is that you cant flash with aftermarket HID kits so i have seen in my research. I believe that with HID lows that you really dont need to flash because of the brightness but I understand reasons to want to keep the feature...
Now if someone can educate me on this...
