There are NO HOLES behind those door moldings. They are just a real real real pain in the a*s. There will be a lot of double sided tape to remove. Get some 3m adheasive remover and a heat gun. It will take you all day.

on the 5.7 its an "open" system. You can actually see how much is needed. On the 5.3 and 6.0 its a "sealed" system, so only the tank is visible. There is NO Radiator Cap, which SUCKS. Ill figure it out, I was just too lazy to search in my service manual, I thought one of you guys would know off...

On the 5.3 motor, how many quarts/gallons does the system hold? I want to drain and refill it because there is a sale on coolant for 6.99 a gallon!

Whats the deal if I want to convert/swap my 4L60-E Transmission to a 4L80E Transmission? Is that a MAJOR setback (cost wise) ??

Isnt the 4L80E in the Suburbans?? If I put it in the tahoe, what affects would it have to the rest of the truck? When transmissions are replaced, are the transmission controllers replaced as well?

The noise is in DRIVE going forward, BUT it does make a "disconnecting" sound when in reverse ALL the time, but the sound isnt noticible to the everyday driver. I notice it because I drive it everyday. Are the 00-06 transmissions shi*? I always thought the 00-06 were built pretty damn good.

yea it is single in/out. Go to performancepeddler.com, I got my magnaflow full setup real cheap on there. Its a drop in kit, no cutting or welding involved (besides a hanger)
