    Remote start problem

My remote start was dealer-installed (but the factory unit) and I have had this problem from time to time (maybe 5% of the starting attempts).

HELP!!! Got the Baer Brakes installed BUT...

If you have a mushy, low pedal, you're compressing air when you're stepping on the brakes. Go to a different shop, who pressure bleeds brakes, and has the hardware/software to properly work the ABS actuators during the bleeding process to bleed out trapped air in that area. You need to find out...

    Tahoe windshield air leak?

One possibility: The steel roof of most vehicles is tack-welded to a metal support structure that is hidden from interior view by the headliner and other bits of interior trim (Open the trunklid of a car and look at the underside of the lid to see a similar structure). If the adhesion between...

    Headlight selector switch

Just remember that when you turn the light switch counterclockwise, you will also temporarily turn off the daytime running lights, so the front end of the vehicle will be completely unlit.

    Heater/AC Control

The fan blower resistor is probably bad. The resistor regulates all of the fan speeds except the highest one. When the highest fan speed is selected, the resistor is bypassed.

anyone else have LTZ door handle problems

Is this limited to chrome-plated handles? Most of the complaints seem to be from LTZ owners.

    Avalanche Tails

I wonder if the Tahoe wiring harness was set up to be usable both in the U.S. and for export models in countries that require a stand-alone turn signal with a yellow lens. Anyone ever see a '07+ Tahoe set up for European delivery?

    Seatbelt reminder

Does the supplemental restraint system evaluate seatbelt use to determine if the degree of accident impact warrants airbag deployment? I don't know about the Tahoe, but I believe it is the case in other vehicles. That might make disconnecting wires a bad idea.

    water in passenger floorboard...

The hose that allows condensation to drain from the A/C system onto the ground might be plugged and allowing water to back up into the passenger compartment.

The painted bowtie really makes that work.

    Really Bad Gas Mileage

1,200 miles is far too early to assess fuel economy. That engine is not broken in and there is still a fair amount of friction between the engine's moving parts. I would be patient and wait until the engine has at least 8,000 - 9,000 miles on it before evaluating fuel economy.

    Paint fading on 07 Tahoe.

That rust may be rail dust which consists of tiny iron particles that attach themselves to the paint during shipping of the vehicle. The particles are not initially noticeable at vehicle delivery as the iron has not yet oxidized. As time passes, the iron particles rust and turn orange/brown...

    Rear Differential Problems

If the Tahoe is 4x4, they'll have to get into the front diff as well if you want to change the final drive ratio. I'm sure that the dealer could do that, but get ready to dig down deep into your pocket.
