The 55's are 31.8's, the 60's are 33's I'm worried about the 275/60 on a 10" rim because they call for a rim between a 7.5 inch rim and a 9.5 inch rim. Normally I don't mind getting outside of recomendations but it's alot of money and I don't want to be disappointed.

I can't see how you can get around the changing of the CV angle with any kind of suspension lift.

And another thing. Why do the Tahoes come with the front lower than the back? For towing maybe?

Why do you have to get a leveling kit for a 2002 Tahoe 4x4? Why wouldn't/shouldn't you just run up the adjustment on the stock one? I'm playing around with mine and ran the adjusting bolt all the way in and walla, all leveled out. I'm thinking it can't be as simple as that there is a reason...

Thanks for the reply. I should have said tallest tire. After more searching I've decided on 275/60/20's almost as tall and a bit skinnier.

What's the biggest 20" tire you can run on stock suspension or with minimal work, no lift kit?

First, jet fuel is in the same family as kerosene and diesel but we get what you mean. I also bought into the electric fan hype and it didn't change my mileage.

Truck had 3:73's Tahoe has 4:10's. The Tahoe has a little bit taller tires on it so it should bring the ratio's a bit closer. Any one out there with a lead foot, about 50/50 city/highway, and a 2x4 5.3 Tahoe 3:73's getting close to 17 mpg?

Will it improve my gas mileage? If so how much? I need to be able to justify it to my wife. "Honey this will save us money in the long run, it will be paid off in fuel savings in X amount of months." You get the picture. Nobody tell her how much I'll be spending in rear tires. Please!
