I'm somewhat of a n00b when it comes to lowering, so please bear with me, but after a little dd I've come to the conclusion that a kit with a dropped spindle for the front is the best way to go; along with shorter rear coils, rear air brackets, sway bar spacers and bump stop. That way I'd be able to keep the oem shocks and hopefully end up with a ride that's somewhat equivalent to stock.

I was able to locate the following kits, that are designed to work with autoride, and would appreciate any and all feedback that you could offer me.

1. Ground Force 9855 http://www.summitracing.com/parts/GRF-9855/?rtype=10

2. McGaughys 3009AWD http://bbn-racing.com/mcguaghys.html

3. Belltech 2-3/4 07 UP http://www.tbssowners.com/store/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=87

FYI, the reason I'm thinking of doing this to my new LTZ is I'm semi-handicapped and with it lowered getting in won't be such a pia.

Thanks,

Keith

Hey Doddger1 did you ever order one of the kits for your tahoe? Ive been researching all day to find out if the ABS/Trac control issue has been solved for lowering with autoride and havent gotten a clear answer. I know its been forever since you posted but if you get this please let me know. Thanks!
