Don't know how but I have a bent rim and a leaky tire. The inside of the rim has a flat spot and what looks to be almost like a crack. Has anyone else had this? They tell me it's common with low profile tires, but I don't consider mine low profile (275/55R20)
My question is does anyone have a good source for GM rims? I have the 20" 5 spoke no grove GM what I believe to be the polished aluminum. Based on my vin # the dealer says it's either the polished aluminum or painted. I was always under the impression that it was the polished aluminum, but now I'm not 100% sure since I haven't seen a painted rim. Can someone comfirm the difference in appearance? .
Visual difference in painted vs polished aluminum?
Good source for purchasing the GM replacement? (don't want to pay the $500 from the dealer)
