you can use an obd reader, when the car is running you can see the voltage which they are running at. No real other test than that.

i backprobe the sensor, when the sensor hits 600 degrees, it creates a voltage. theres a spec on the voltage, and you compare the spec to what you got. usually if theres a problem it will throw an engine lite.

makes sense. the higher octane fuel burns slower, therefor more unburnt fuel is going thru the engine, telling the O2's that there is a rich mixture and itll throw a code for it. like you said, O2 is doing its job, and shouldnt be replaced
