With the new power liftgate, can you open the glass independently like on older Tahoe models?? If not with the power liftgate, what about with the non-power liftgate...it would suk to need to get things out and not have enough room to open the liftgate AND not be able to open the glass separately...thanks!@!

Yes, glass opens separately. No worries.

The height of the new body style prevents somve folks from opening the back door in a garage while "under" the open garage door.

When looking at it last night, I could not figure out how the glass opened separately from the tailgate and started to worry a little...thanks again!

The glass release button is well hidden, under the right hand corner of the trim piece above the license plate. It's a soft-push rubber feeling button.

There's also a button on the key fob for the hatch and the glass.
